Bringing Neighbors & Friends Together

No matter where you are from or where you were born, what nationality you are, who your parents are or where they're from, or the color of your skin, you are a unique and individual human being. The differences that we can see are outnumbered by the similarities that we can't see, and yet we seem to focus on the differences. I have yet to meet someone who decided where they were born or chose their parents, or their skin color. Some things are beyond our control. Hate is not one of these things. Hate is a choice.

There are prejudices about people which are handed down and taught by family members and friends. There are societal stereotypes which classify those who are different than others. This is the world we live in today. We are trying to change these prejudices. We want people to focus on the positive traits of humanity and not the ugliness of discrimination and of hate.
