January 6 Political Prosecutions Reach the International Stage

The prosecution of Americans over January 6th has now hit the international stage. A man charged for being at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021, who left America to seek political asylum abroad, is currently being held by a foreign government under the direction of the U.S. law enforcement designation as a “terrorist”. 

More information on this unfolding story is to come, but for now it is imperative to take a moment to grasp what has just happened.

On January 6, 2021, thousands of Americans went to Washington D.C. to support President Donald J. Trump and to peacefully protest a problematic 2020 Election – problems which time has only proved to be more true.

For exercising their Constitutionally protected first amendment right, over 1,100 and counting unsuspecting Americans have been targeted, charged, politically persecuted, and prosecuted. January 6 defendants have been imprisoned, denied due process, denied legal defense, and subjected to hostile and brutal treatment behind bars. The impact on their lives and their families has been catastrophic. “J6ers” (as they have come to be known as) have been bankrupted, demonized, ostracized, ruined professionally and personally, and even driven to death by suicide.

A small few have even fled America. In the hope of finding asylum from the political prosecution he endured in the “land of the free”, one man is now detained after going to several countries because the United States government has designated him a “terrorists”.

“Terrorists”.

With international governments.

Labeling “peaceful and patriotic protest[ers]” as dangerous as 9/11 perpetrators.  Labeling Trump supporters as lethal as isis, al qaeda, or hamas.

In reality, more likely, labeling J6ers as dangerous as Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, and Seth Rich.  Standing for truth has life and death consequences.

The absurdity of this would boggle the brain except that it is countered by the sobering seriousness of this action by the United States government.    

When J6ers went to the Capitol, they had no idea of the hell that was about to be unleashed on them by their own government.  The full force of the United States three letter agencies has been weaponized against them.  The conviction rate is staggering and the ability to get even an appearance of a fair trial seems non-existent in D.C..

Three years later, more and more details have come to light about the entrapment of the protestors by nefarious actors directly or indirectly employed by the federal government.  Increasing evidence confirms that January 6, 2021 was a “fedsurrection”, yet the Biden administration has not changed course from garnering scalps to perpetuate the election fraud and the January 6 cover-up.
