On November 8, 2021, #J6Hostage Jeremy Brown, a former Green Beret, 20-year disabled Special Forces combat veteran hero, and FBI Whistleblower, began his hunger strike. Marking his fortieth day of confinement in the Pinellas County Jail- Maximum Security Ward in Florida, Brown issued a press release (see full press release below) announcing his hunger strike as a political prisoner in protest of his denied Constitutional rights.
Brown, along with the thousands of other Americans, was in Washington D.C. for President Trump’s rally. Patriots came at the behest of their POTUS to show their support and to stand against a stolen election. They came to exercise their first amendment right to “peaceably assemble” on January 5th and 6th, 2021.
For that, Brown and 695 other Americans have been raided, arrested, charged (overcharged, to be more accurate), persecuted, and punished for exercising their right to redress their government on J6 in our nation’s Capitol. Outlined in his press release, Brown’s deprivation of rights include the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th amendments.
As more time passes and the longer Brown and the others arrested to date in connection with January 6 are deprived of these rights, the more apparent it is that the appropriate moniker and status is that of hostage.
Hostages who are being used for leverage by a hostile government in a domestic political war.
American prisoners have rights. Or at least they are supposed to.
Hostages and POWs (Prisoners of War) do not.
This certainly is true of Jeremy Brown.

The Yellow Ribbon, as those old enough to remember know, became the symbol of support for the 66 Americans held hostage for 444 days in the Iran Hostage Crisis. As tensions rose in negotiations of the Iran Hostages, the wife of the diplomat charged with their release told Americans to Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree (in reference to the song made famous by Tony Orlando in 1973). In 1991, a new version of the Yellow Ribbon became the symbol for the Persian Gulf War.
However you tie it, wear it, or wrap it around a tree, the yellow ribbon is iconically tied to the American cultural psyche as the symbol of support, hope, and patriotism for hostages caught in the crosshairs of political conflict.
When General Flynn was going through his political persecution prosecution, patriots added three yellow stars to their social media profiles to show support.
In the same way, the #J6Hostages Yellow Ribbon Revival campaign can serve as a visual display of support. With the denied motion to reopen the bond hearing on November 12th, Brown will most certainly need more funds for his legal defense while he remains in prison. On Monday, November 15th, Brown stopped his hunger strike as explained in his recorded phone conversation with David Sumrall of StopHate.
Brown’s case is especially high profile because he dared to blow the whistle on the FBl’s attempt to recruit him as an infiltrator and asset in DC around January 6, 2021. When serving in the US military as a Special Forces combatant, Brown worked with the JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force), so he knew their modus operandi
Before StopHate released their 37 minute documentary, Righting History: The Journalistic Battle of January 6 on June 4, 2021showing FBI operatives, Antifa and BLM agitators, and DC Capitol Police instigating the violence at the Capitol, Brown knew. Even before Darren Beady of revolver.com published his bombshell investigative expose that, as Brown states in his press release, “…provided clear evidence and connected the dots that showed how the FBI was (read: directly) involved in the staging of January 6, 2021…”, Brown knew.
He knew because some of the exact same agents of the 30-40 local and federal law enforcement officers who arrested him at his home on September 30, 2021 were the ones who had contacted him in 2020. On December 9, 2020, in a despicable attempt to recruit Brown “as a confidential informant to infiltrate citizen groups that had no criminal history”, i.e., Oathkeepers, Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters.
Brown declined. Not only did he decline to play along to get along, he went public with the story and laid it all out in an interview Green Beret vs. FBI.
Hence the harsh punishment. Hence the whistleblower retaliation by the FBI who apparently takes no prisoners, only hostages. #J6Hostages.

(Pinellas County Jail- Maximum Security Ward, FL) “Monday, November 8, 2021. My name is Jeremy Brown. I am a 20-year disabled Special Forces combat veteran. On January 5th and 6th, 2021, I was in our nation’s capital as part of a protective detail tasked with providing security for organizers and speakers for a legally-permitted political rally.
On September 30, 2021, I was arrested at my home by approximately 30-40 supported local and federal law enforcement agents on a misdemeanor arrest warrants for being in an unauthorized area. Oddly, I was never questioned nor contacted by any investigators about this case and it took nine months for my arrest warrant- despite others I was with being arrested as early as March 2021. The sad truth is, I know exactly why this has happened.
On December 9, 2020, the exact same Joint Terrorism Task Force (read: herein, ‘JTTF’) agents attempted to recruit me as a confidential informant to infiltrate citizen groups that had no criminal history. I recorded that meeting.
On January 6th and 7th, 2021, I was contacted by phone by that same agent- so he knew exactly where I was and why I was there. That was the last communication I had with the JTTF even though I made multiple attempts to email them.
On March 5, 2021, I did a two-hour live interview that can be seen at justanotherchannel.com (read: another direct link to this recorded interview can be found online at: Former Green Beret Exposes FBI Attempts to Recruit Him for Jan 6th Riot (banned.video) ), under the title ‘Green Beret vs. FBI”. That recording fully exposed the (read: attempted) recruitment and my professional assessment of what it had been. I released it in order to counter the lies and false narratives being told to the public through the media’s and FBI Director’s false testimonies in Congress. That video was viewed by over 2 million people and I subsequently conducted approximately 30 interviews for well-over 40 hours of recorded content on the matter.
Over the span of multiple weeks in March through May 2021, Americans were trolling the FBI’s Field Office in Tampa, FL official Twitter page with links to the interview. They (read: the FBI would immediately) would pull it down and then someone would repost it. So, in turn, the FBI was well-aware of the interview and of my outspokenness in March 2021.
However, as time went on, the media interest died-down and it seemed that the FBI had been successful in ignoring me into oblivion. NOT SO FAST!!!
In mid-June 2021, a major investigative article was released by Darren Beady of revolver.com (read: you can find the article online at Unindicted Co-Conspirators in 1/6 Cases Raise Disturbing Questions of Federal Foreknowledge – Revolver).This article provided evidence and connected the dots that showed how the FBI was (read: directly) involved in the actual staging of January 6th, 2021- as well as their (read: the FBI’s) involvement in the Michigan Governor’s fake kidnapping plot. Immediately, this sparked new interest in my story and, as such, from late-June 2021 through early-July 2021, I conducted another round of interviews- this time, with a better understanding of the ‘big picture’ provided by an additional seven months of investigations, reports, people and videos coming out to the public.
I spoke the truth and gave (read: professional) opinions based off of my 20-years of Special Operations experience. More notably, some of said experience was from directly working alongside the JTTF and other similar agencies throughout my tenure. This clearly upset the FBI and almost immediately, friends of mine were being contacted (read: harassed) by the FBI- some who were both questioned and threatened- all about me, Jeremy Brown. In fact, my sister was directly contacted by the very agent who was featured in the recorded FBI (read: attempted) recruitment meeting at my house back in December 2020. He didn’t call her to question her about January 6, 20201, but instead, he told her that he was concerned that I had been ‘radicalized’ and had alleged that I was ‘maybe suicidal’. Please keep in mind, that our younger brother had just committed suicide in late 2018. Consequently, I attempted to contact this agent via email multiple times, to address his (read: alleged) concerns and received no response.
In mid-September 2021, my beloved girlfriend of seven years and I, jointly, sold her home in preparation of our retirement plan of becoming full-time RV-ers. We were excited to begin our retirement together, romantically living on the road- perhaps off-the-grid at times, even- whilst re-connecting with family and friends- other times- and were excited to explore everything this beautiful country has to offer. Looking back, this plan began upon our first purchase of an RV in October 2020. Please take note that this purchase occurred well-before any, prima facie, ‘issues’ with the FBI.
On September 30, 2021, which was exactly three days prior to the close of the sale of my beautiful girlfriend’s home, I received an early-morning telephone call from that same (read: FBI)agent- who proceeded to leave me a voicemail, with a fake ‘hey buddy’ tone. He said that he had heard that we were moving and just wanted to see how I was. Of course, I did not answer nor respond. However, I did tell numerous friends about it and told them that they (read: the FBI) were ‘probably coming soon’. Later that day, at approximately 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time, as we were about to leave to donate clothes and houseware items to the local Salvation Army, they came. In hindsight, with what my girlfriend estimates as between 15 to 20 vehicles and a swarm of tactical-vest-clad federal agents- they arrested me standing (read: with my hands-up in the air, fully cooperating) in my own driveway. Without even reading me my (read: Miranda) rights, they handcuffed me and whisked me away into the back of their unmarked SUV. Of course, they came accompanied by the ATF and what they had ‘claimed’ to be a ‘search warrant’ because the JTTF ‘always’ gets search warrants for misdemeanor arrest warrants over nine months after-the-fact (note: sarcastic tone intended). These agents then spent over five hours meticulously searching our property and only managed to produce a single inventory sheet (read: receipt) of our property. Notably, one of the things that was ‘taken’ (read: by the FBI)- a 5’ by 8’ American Flag. I thought to myself: How dare I?!
Today, November 8, 2021, is now officially my 40th day being held in Maximum Security as both an FBI Whistleblower and Political Prisoner. To date, these are the crimes that the FBI and DOJ are both guilty of committing under Title 18 U.S. Code Section 242 ‘Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law’: inter alia, (1) violations of the First Amendment for criminalizing free speech and the lawful attendance of a permitted, public rally at a public building; and, (2) violations of the Second Amendment by passing and enforcing unconstitutional gun laws that directly violate the letter of the law and intent of the ‘shall not infringe’ clause reinforced by the precedent reinforced by the landmark DC v Heller2008 Supreme Court decision; and, (3) violations of the Fourth Amendment through obtaining an unreasonable and illegal search warrant by unlawfully deceiving the issuing judge. Additionally, they also refused to produce the warrant when asked. In fact, one agent was even recorded stating that ‘we don’t know what we are looking for yet’. In my humble opinion, what they should look for is a copy of the U.S. Constitution and read it.; and, (4) Violations of the Fifth Amendment, by not reading me my rights prior to arrest and questioning. In fact, they have, and still continue to deprive me of life, liberty and property without my due process of law. Right now, they still have me locked in a maximum security section of the jail- counter to the great American legal tradition of ‘innocent until proven guilty’. ; and, (5) Direct violations of the Sixth Amendment by making sure nothing is ‘speedy’. In fact, it wasn’t until Day #37, that all of the charges were presented against me and in 40-days-and-counting, I have yet to see the (read: alleged) ‘search warrant’ for my phone. Unsurprisingly, yet although ‘The Daily Beast’ somehow has all of the (read: leaked) details of it?! Currently, there are 2-3 ‘unnamed’ (read: anonymous) witnesses that I have been denied the right to confront or counter their claims. Perhaps, one of which is likely my girlfriend’s sister who has a documented history of false claims, harassment and stalking of us throughout a seven-year-period. Furthermore, due to the fact that I am physically locked-up in jail right now, I do not have complete access to ‘all’ of the witnesses and all of the contact with my legal counsel is recorded on monitored systems- directly violating my attorney-client privilege.; and, (6) One of the most egregious violations is that of my Eighth Amendment right by denying me bond and keeping me locked-up in maximum security prison for 40 days and counting.
As such, due to theses violations of my God-given, Constitutional rights, with the intent of keeping me from speaking out about the FBI’s and DOJ’s lies and corruption, alongside their failed attempts to intimidate me and break my will with this illegal imprisonment, in order to (read: in my humble opinion) coerce me into pleading to the crime(s) I did not commit, I hereby make this announcement:
I, Jeremy Brown, being of sound mind and body, while being illegally held as a political prisoner, will no longer eat any food of any kind, until my rights are fully restored and I am free to return home in order to prepare for my legal battle against this corrupt and tyrannical government. This ‘Hunger Strike’ will commence at sundown (read: today)- Monday, November 8, 2021. This is the 40th day of my illegal captivity and it will continue unless and until I am released on bond in accordance with my Eighth Amendment Constitutional rights.
It is with a heavy heart, that after a lifetime of service to this great nation, and after spending over 20 years protecting the U.S Constitution- that was given to us in order to secure our liberties- now, I have to use the only four ‘tools’ I have remaining at my disposal: my faith, my voice, my mind and my body.
I pray my fight will be successful- not only for me, but for ALL Americans.
