#J6PardonOfInnocence – An Introduction

"They asked me to LIE about President Trump in order to indict him," Enrique Tarrio exclusively told the Gateway Pundit. "I told them to pound sand, and because I refused to lie about President Trump, it cost me twenty-two years of my life."

If you’ve been following Dave Sumrall @HelpStopHate (and if you are not, you should), you may have noticed he’s been posting #J6PardonOfInnocence a lot lately.  David is the founder of StopHate.com and among the top of a handful of January 6th subject matter experts in the country.  

So, what is “J6 [January 6] Pardon of Innocence” and why is David using this hashtag?

The short answer for now is that a “pardon of innocence” is a specific pardon under the broader power of pardons (a pardon is a form of clemency) constitutionally (Article II, Section 2, Clause 1) given to the President.  Historically, Presidential pardons have been seen as “favors” for political allies or for political points in granting relief from fully serving a “justified” sentence once convicted. 

A “Pardon of Innocence” existed within the presidential power of pardons but had never been fully applied or understood until President Donald J. Trump granted the first-ever “Pardon of Innocence” to Lt. General (Ret.) Michael T. Flynn on November 25, 2020.  As many MAGA supporters remember, General Flynn was targeted in a three-year political prosecution as a means to “get Trump” during his first term.

A bit of historical context:  

In March of 2018 as the persecution prosecution of General Flynn intensified, the late great analyst and friend to General Flynn, Pasquale Scopelliti (@thyconsigliori) along with his wife, Kate Scopelliti (@KateScopelliti) launched the #ClearFlynnNow social media campaign (primarily on Twitter) with co-creator Tamara Leigh (@tamaraleighllc).  “Clear Flynn Now” quickly evolved into “Pardon Flynn Now.”  

The mission of the PardonFlynnNow.com movement was threefold:

  1. Keep General Flynn’s Case from cycling out of the news and keep it “top of fold,” by engaging President Trump’s supporters to create posts on social media, share memes, and make their voices heard against the political prosecution.

  2. Provide undeniable support from his base so that if a pardon for Flynn became necessary, President Trump had the political approval from his voters to do so.

  3. Provide the constitutional pathway, especially through the “Pardon of Innocence” to right the wrong of the nefarious lawfare waged against General Flynn.

The movement and mission were also predicated on the 100% support of Attorney Sidney Powell to succeed through the judicial process.  

As the Flynn Family endearingly called Sidney, “America’s Guardian Angel of Justice”, it was their desire to secure legal exoneration and vindication.  If not for Sidney Powell’s tenacity and skill, America would never have known about “Brady Material” and why it matters, or about the malicious “Swamp” tactics employed by those entrusted to serve America “with justice and liberty for all.”

That our courts should function properly and constitutionally to serve America is a given, however, what should be and what is are two very different things.  Just ask J6ers.

As the Flynn case dragged on in the courts (more Swamp tactics employed), Pasquale developed the analysis of the authority of a “Pardon of Innocence” as an appropriate and honorable legal remedy. 

On July 6, 2019, the first #PardonOfInnocence was posted as the mission forward for General Flynn.  Pasquale built out the constitutional basis for its utilization via daily threads @thyconsigliori.  At that time, despite growing censorship, shadow banning, and suspended accounts of MAGA tweeters, Twitter functioned well with its exponential reach utilizing hashtags and retweets.  The social media landscape is different today, but elements of the successful strategies employed in the Pardon Flynn Now movement are applicable to #J6PardonOfInnocence.

Understandably, Attorney Sidney Powell didn’t want a pardon.
General Flynn didn’t want a pardon.
But a pardon is what he got.

Thankfully it was a “Pardon of Innocence” (see Statement from the Press Secretary Regarding Executive Grant of Clemency for General Michael T. Flynn) that carries with it an inherent exoneration “as if” one had never been charged.

General Flynn, with his freedom and voice restored, has since been tirelessly traveling the country, speaking out, and “ReAwakening” the resilient and righteous American spirit with his call to action, especially around election integrity, and tagline “Local Action for National Impact.” 

The proven pathway from General Flynn’s “Pardon of Innocence” can and should be applied to the January 6th peaceful and patriotic participants who have been politically targeted (to include predawn SWAT raids), prosecuted, and unlawfully detained pre-conviction.  

The vast majority of the American public either doesn’t know, or doesn’t care to know, the truth of what actually happened at the nation’s capital on January 6th, 2021.  They believe, without questioning, the lies immediately pushed out about the “violent insurrection” by the enemies of Donald Trump.

Investigative journalist, Lara Logan is the face and force of January 6th truth, “The Rest of Story.” The premiere episode launched Thursday, September 14, 2023 with more episodes to follow in the coming weeks.  The intention is to get the stories out about who J6ers are and what really happened to as large an audience as possible.  It airs for free on multiple platforms.  This outreach to the masses is much needed.

J6 truth exists.  

Much of it has been archived and released by David and his Stop Hate Investigative Team along with others.  They were the first to break the news with documented film evidence that it was the DC Metro and Capital Police along with federal agents, like Ray Epps who were planted in the crowd, who instigated the violence and murdered four Americans that day.  

It behooves the minority of patriots, those who do care, to have accurate knowledge with which to penetrate public opinion.  This can help us reach a tipping point of support for “J6 Pardons of Innocence.” 

Known as the “Blackstone Ratio” found at CATOInstitute.org, the long held belief relative to our justice system states, 

“As the preeminent English jurist William Blackstone wrote,"[B]etter that ten guilty persons escape, than that one innocent suffer." 

This principle can also be found in religious texts and in the writings of the American Founders.  Benjamin Franklin went further arguing "it is better a hundred guilty persons should escape than one innocent person should suffer."

It would seem America’s Founders would wholeheartedly embrace the “Pardon of Innocence” for the J6ers, especially those currently suffering in the DC Gulag.

For those unfamiliar with all that has been sleuthed out in the J6 prosecutions and by independent investigators, it is imperative to have basic information of the events around January 6th, the prosecutions (both who is and who is not prosecuted), and who are the truth drivers within the J6 community.  

This is especially critical as it relates to #J6PardonOfInnocence.

Additionally important to understand, is the foundational premise that “corrupt courts will not self-correct.”  Justice is not their (courts, DOJ, FBI, “Unselect” J6 Committee) objective; their objective is demonstrated by their actions — which are: 

  1. To continue to “get Trump” by getting more and more J6 prosecutions/convictions/plea deals (with its presumptive guilt even when not guilty)

  2. To intimidate us/We the People from standing up

To counter their well-funded political persecution prosecutions – We must:

  • Stand on Truth - Go back to why J6ers were in DC in the first place

  • Stand on Election Integrity - The “rigged election” has only been proven more true since January 6, 2020

  • “Right History” - Make sure their “insurrection” lie narrative doesn’t stick in perpetuity

  • Be J6 Truth Subject Matter Experts in our communities

  • Give Representative Matt Gaetz and the other Congressmen and women “firm support,” i.e., they will do what they are compelled to do!

  • Support/convey expectation for President Trump to Pardon by Pardon of Innocence on Day 1 of his next term. (Not at the end of four years in office.)

Based on almost 3 years of evidence uncovered by the following key players listed below, and by others in the J6 Community, the truth of what exactly transpired that fateful day at the Capital has revealed a very different story than the immediate narrative pushed out from the real “coup plotters.”  (Apologies in advance for the omission of many deserving mentions for the sake of brevity here.)

Despite the lawfare and information war unleashed on millions of unsuspecting American citizens who went to Washington DC to peacefully protest the 2020 Election results and to support President Trump, evidence uncovered since then has revealed an orchestrated plot that has been more correctly called, the “Fedsurrection.” 

The following persons and their notable work are the key J6 drivers and are among the first to counter the politicians, especially the “J6 Un-Select Committee,” and the MSM narrative with concrete facts:

When President Trump declared, “We will seek justice together,” what did he mean?  What do  “seek” and “justice” look like?

For the tragic loss of the decent human beings of the #J6 defendants who were so distraught over the magnitude of the full weight of the federal government crushing down on them with bogus and enhanced charges that they felt the only way out was suicide, President Trump needs to grant posthumous “pardons of innocence.”  These patriotic souls, from Matthew Perna to the most recent Nejourde Meacham, deserve history to accurately record their sacrifices.

Granted, technically their January 6 charges are moot because a trial and conviction were pre-empted by their deaths.  The once held, but no longer true, notion of innocent until proven guilty applies; especially to this special group of #J6 defendants.  Regardless, they deserve the public acknowledgement of their innocence.  Their family members deserve the declaration on the record to honor their memory and lives.

For those in the #DCGulag, it means immediate release by virtue of their innocence proclaimed and pardons granted.

For J6ers still awaiting trial or forced into plea deals with coerced admissions of “guilt” for the crime of exercising their first amendment right, it means immediate exoneration and release from the grip of malicious prosecutors.

The Biden brown shirts made Enrique Tarrio a high-profile persecution prosecution.  Tarrio was not only sentenced to a 22-year prison term for refusing to lie about President Trump, he was also targeted as the poster boy of the Proud Boys.

According to Tarrio as reported in The Hill, “They weren’t trying to get the truth,” Tarrio told the Post. “They were trying to coerce me into signing something that’s not true.”  That something, as reported in the Gateway Pundit, was for Tarrio to confirm a lie by signing his name to false documents that were created by the Justice Department for the expressed purpose of further implicating Trump of wrongdoing.

Justice for Tarrio means President Trump has his back, like he had Trump’s, by negating his imprisonment with a pardon of innocence.
