Righting History—The Journalistic Battle of January 6 Rages On Information is the war and the weapon.

In every great war, historic battles change outcomes. Like Lexington and Concord, Gettysburg, and Normandy, January 6th is a battleground set to determine the course of our country.

The complexity, orchestration, and manipulation of the truth about January 6 was almost exclusively in the hands of the most powerful people and institutions in the world. Whose truth wins in this current war and who does or doesn’t wield it began with that infamous Donald J. Trump ride down the golden escalator and rages on still a decade later.

As the breaking news of the events on January 6 were sent out through the MSM (Main Stream Media) airwaves in real time, the preplanned narrative was fed to the unknowing American public. Insurrectionists, rioters, violent right extremists—their words.

In the war of words, the team at StopHate.com immediately fired back.  Patriots, heroes, hostages, J6ers—our words.

The persistent, relentless pursuit of facts and the exposure of enemy actions and tactics over the past five years by the President Trump supporting, 2020 election-denying, and January 6 peacefully protesting army has forced the narrative change from “Insurrection” to “Fedsurrection”.

The momentum has shifted.

If there’s a modern day General Patton leading this counter-attack, it’s David Sumrall, and one of his most effective weapons of choice has been film, with a series of powerful January 6 themed documentaries (along with Andrew Mullinax, Treniss Evans, Daniel Goodwyn).

When David Sumrall, founder of StopHate.com, released the first January 6, 2021 documentary, Righting History: The Journalistic Battle of January 6, on June 4, 2021—not uncoincidentally the anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre— it served as a 37-minute counter-narrative.

The full “Armory of Truth” films can be found at https://1afilmfest.com.  The 2024 and 2025 collection includes all five of StopHate.com productions: Righting History: The Journalistic Battle of January 6 (2021), Bloody Hill (2022), 1000 Days of Terror (2023), J6: A True Timeline (2024), and Pardon Us: Justice for All (2025).

With Righting History, it’s as if David Sumrall—to compare him to another historical figure—found just the right rock to sling between the eyes of the Goliath deep state.

David Sumrall Speaks at the Red Pill Expo, Rapids City, South Dakota June 4, 2021

As the 5 year anniversary of January 5th approaches under President Donald J. Trump’s return to the White House, the politically persecuted, prosecuted, incarcerated, and bankrupted January 6ers are (with a few remaining exceptions), free and pardoned through the exhaustive efforts of the J6 Pardon Project (David Sumrall, Suzzanne Monk, Treniss Evans, Tamara Leigh and the entire J6 Community effort).

Ashli Babbitt, murdered by Lt. Michael T. Byrd inside the Capitol on January 6, has had her military honors restored by Secretary Pete Hegseth’s Department of War, previously denied her under the Biden administration.

In the past few weeks, after news broke that BBC's director general, Tim Davie, and the head of news, Deborah Turness intentionally edited a January 6th speech by Donald Trump to make it appear that the President was responsible for inciting the riots of January 6, the pair resigned.

Next came the boldly dropped bombshell article (pun intended) by Steve Baker of The Blaze naming the January 6 pipe bomber as Capital Police Officer Shauni Kerkof, forcing one of the biggest unsolved mysteries of January 6th back to the top of the news cycle.  If The Blaze stepped in it by prematurely by releasing Kerkhoff’s identity before official confirmation, Baker’s story still served to put points on the board for patriots.

To date, the intel agencies have let themselves off the hook in delaying and denying the disclosure of the January 6 pipe bomb perpetrator and the Trump new media went on the offensive for the win.

Truth has a persistent ability to shine through even the darkest of efforts to bury it. As David Sumrall posted, quoting Kelly Walker of Freedom Talk Magazine, “When we bury our history, we lay a minefield for our children’s future.”

The sword of truth is about to swing down and chop off the head of the giant.
