Theory of the Charlie Kirk Case: Decorticate Posturing
The Untold StoryFor anyone who has followed Charlie Kirk’s a**assignation case, the breaking news on Monday, March 30, 2026, was unsurprising.
Per Tyler Robinson’s attorneys,
“Regarding the firearm evidence, the defense has been provided
with an ATF summary report which indicates that the ATF was unable
to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly
tied to Mr. Robinson.”
So, they are saying they can’t identify the bullet because there are only fragments.
What they are not saying is that this bullet didn’t come from Robinson’s gun.
More importantly, the other thing they are not saying is that those fragments could be from an explosive device.
In other words, we are dealing with fragments of something, not exclusively fragments of bullets.
If we open up the possibility of other means of death, we can look more objectively at what then?
It begs the question, fragments of what?
With Robinson looking more and more the patsy, internet sleuths have now turned to the microphone as the most obvious alternative explanation. While this line of reasoning is more probable, it still, misses the real mark of what killed Charlie.

In an ongoing discussion with a colleague since September 10, 2025, neither of us bought the “official narrative” of the trans shooter. This colleague is a private detective, hunter/marksman, video analyst, and an individual with experience in analyzing the effects of different weapons. His theory of the case is that the “kill shot” that ended Charlie Kirk’s life came not from the microphone of the headset, but rather, the earpiece.
Why the earpiece?
Decorticate posturing, that’s why.
Decorticate Posturing is, according to the National Library of Medicine, “a patterned motor response observed in neurological and neurosurgical patients with intracranial hypertension and descending trans tentorial brainstem herniation syndrome. Flexor posturing with internal rotation of the upper limbs occurs alongside extensor posturing of the lower limbs.”
In layman’s terms, breaking it down relative to Charlie, it means, if you watch the videos of Charlie at the moment of the hit, his body demonstrates the decorticate posturing where his arms flop up, his chest thrusts out, and his head expands as if something has just gone off inside it.
If you’ve seen the Ashli Babbitt murder from January 6, 2021, when Michael Byrd shot Ashli at point blank range with a handgun, her body demonstrated the same decorticate trauma of her hands curling up, indicating she mercifully died instantly.
The same goes for Charlie.
The decorticate posturing indicates Charlie’s brain would have been immediately destroyed. Despite no obviously visible signs of the explosion inside his head from the outside, the damage to his brain would be extensive.
In addition to the blood behind his right ear, which has been ignored, and the huge protruding bulge in his left throat at time of detonation, his body leans to the left after the event, which would happen if the “mysterious bullet” struck his right side, following the momentum of the blast inside Charlie’s head.
If you follow the straight line of trajectory from his earpiece to the exit wound out his throat, it makes sense.
By comparison, as many have looked to, President John F. Kennedy’s messy death is what a crime scene looks like when someone has been shot through the head with a rifle.
And then you have what appears to be the guys around Charlie picking up the pieces of the headset.
Right to left earpiece theory does not defy logic or physics. It would also explain the other points of reaction like Charlie’s necklace and shirt.
Sometimes the most obvious explanation is the easiest to hide.
The Sidestory
Last week, Steve Baker went on Viva Frei’s show to break news about the Joe Kent leaker brouhaha. What Steve said, and what made sense to me, was that he went to Joe Kent at the National Counterterrorism Center with information versus going to the FBl.
As a January 6er himself, Baker knew the FBl was neck deep in January 6 mishigas, especially around J6 pipe b*mber” who Steve identified as Capitol Police Officer Shauni Kerkoff in a November 8, 2025 article in The Blaze..
Unremarkably, lo and behold, a few weeks after Baker’s breaking news, the FBl arrested a man accused of placing two pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC national parties on the eve of January 6, 2021.
The guy they’re holding, Brian Cole, Jr., is no more the j6 pipe b0mber than Tyler Robinson’s is the guy who shot CK.
I’m fortunate to know both Steve and Joe, not well, but I have interviewed both on my former podcast and worked collaboratively with Steve on January 6 and with Joe on Veterans for America First and his campaign.
The Backstory
I also knew Charlie. Not well, by any means, but I knew him in person in real life, and over the life of Turning Point USA from inception until Charlie’s end, I was blessed to have a sideline view.
From Charlie’s humble beginnings in Chicago, I knew of the launch of Turning Point USA mostly by extension through my friend and former Tamara Leigh’s Trend On podcast cohost, Brent Hamachek. Brent mentored Charlie, schooled him in the founding principles of America and the great historical philosophers, wrote the foundational material for Turning Point USA, and coauthored Charlie’s first book, Time for a Turning Point. I met Charlie on several occasions, attend his early events, and followed the parallel trajectory of the rise of Charlie Kirk/TPUSA and the rise of Donald J. Trump/MAGA over the last decade plus.
I also watched Charlie mature in his faith in Christ and as a leader without losing his almost naive enthusiasm of his youth as he went from high school kid to confidante of the President of the United States.
The news of Charlie’s death was shocking and heartbreaking enough, but to learn of the way of it – the public *assassination* is almost beyond comprehension.
What is easy to grasp, is that what we have been told as the official “truth” is not it.
